A couple of weeks back, I hosted a space on Investments where Mohanakrishnan covered the first steps on an investment journey. This covered things like:
- Emergency Fund
- Health Insurance
- Asset allocation and..
- diversification
The snippets from the conversation are listed here.

Equity (aka Company Stocks) is something we are always afraid of losing money.
Why they make sense and how much of the money should be allocated for it? pic.twitter.com/7VFISkwGfu
Snippet #6 Gold

Hi Purushotaman, things like fund selection, duration weightage ..etc, would probably require a conversation with a financial planner or an advisor. If you are not asking for the solution but tools to find your own solution. One excellent tool that I know of is the CapitalMind planner available here https://www.capitalmind.in/2019/10/capitalmind-plan-creating-your-personalized-financial-plan/ Kindly check this out.
